These Terms are version 1.5. They govern your use of the EdgeQuant website, our signal channels, and the EQ Autopilot desktop software. Please read them before subscribing. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Every version of these Terms is archived with its version number and its period of validity. The version that applies to your subscription is the one in force when you purchased it; you receive it with your order confirmation and you can request a copy at any time from support@edgequant.app.
EdgeQuant is a brand and business name (Geschäftsbezeichnung). The service is provided by BOK Research GmbH, a German limited liability company with its registered seat in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe (Amtsgericht Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, HRB 17674), represented by its managing director Kyo Won Jeong, at the address published in the Impressum.
Email: support@edgequant.app
Who your contract is with. Your contract, including the free Preview contract under § 327 (3) BGB, is concluded with BOK Research GmbH, entered in the commercial register (Amtsgericht Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, HRB 17674). Free contracts concluded before that entry were taken over by the company; your rights under these Terms are not reduced by that change.
Address and register details. Our postal address, the competent registry court and commercial register number are published in the Impressum. We do not open paid subscriptions until a full postal business address is published in the Impressum, in the statutory withdrawal instruction, and in the model withdrawal form; a post office box is not sufficient for that purpose. Our VAT identification number will be added to the Impressum once it has been issued.
Editorial responsibility. Responsible for journalistic and editorial content pursuant to § 18 (2) MStV: Kyo Won Jeong, at the address published in the Impressum. Our signal channels on Telegram and Discord carry the same provider identification; those platforms themselves are not operated by us.
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "EdgeQuant" mean the operator described above. "You" means the person using the service.
EdgeQuant is a subscription information service and a software product. Specifically, we provide:
How often signals appear. Signals are generated only when the conditions of the method are met. There is no minimum number of signals per day, week, or month. Periods of several days without a signal in a given instrument are normal, are a property of the method, and are not a defect. Not trading is part of the method.
We are not an intermediary. EdgeQuant is not a broker, exchange, custodian, or payment institution. We do not hold client money, we do not hold client instruments, we do not have access to your brokerage or exchange accounts, and we do not route, forward, or transmit your orders.
Every order that reaches a market is placed from your own computer, with your own credentials, in your own account, on the basis of parameters you configured in advance and a standing instruction you gave to your own software. We neither place, transmit, nor route any order, and we exercise no discretion over whether, when, at what size, or in which instrument you trade. You may switch automated execution off at any time. While it is switched on, orders are placed without a further confirmation from you, in accordance with the standing instruction you set.
We do not provide investment advice (Anlageberatung), investment broking, contract broking, portfolio management (Finanzportfolioverwaltung), or any other service that requires authorization under the German Banking Act (KWG) or the German Securities Institutions Act (WpIG). We do not hold a BaFin authorization and we do not act as a tied agent of an authorized institution.
Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing we publish is a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. All content is general information about a systematic method and its output.
If you need advice on whether a particular instrument or strategy is suitable for you, please consult a licensed adviser.
The instruments we currently cover are not admitted to trading, and are not derivatives of instruments admitted to trading, on a regulated market, an MTF or an OTF in the European Union. On that basis the investment-recommendation regime of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (Market Abuse Regulation) does not apply to our signals, as set out in section 4 of the Disclaimer. We nevertheless publish the same disclosures voluntarily, and we repeat the essential points with each recommendation. If we add an instrument within that scope, these disclosures become obligations rather than a voluntary practice:
Conflicts of interest. The designer and the company hold, or may hold, positions in the same instruments and in the same direction as the signals. Such positions are taken at the same time as, or after, distribution to members, never before. Results from the designer's own account are published as part of our track record, which means we have a commercial interest in those results.
This is a core property of the service, not a limitation we apply case by case:
Because of this, no signal we publish may be read as a recommendation addressed to you personally.
The tiers set out below are the agreed content of the service. They are contractual text, not a runtime display. If a display elsewhere in the product differs from this Section, this Section governs your contract, and any change to it follows Section 13 or Section 21.
Preview - free
Operator - paid monthly subscription (price announced before checkout opens, Section 9)
Autopilot - paid monthly subscription (price announced before checkout opens; founding rates under Section 9)
Partner - not offered for sale. Access on the Partner tier is given free of charge, and only to persons who have a referral agreement with us, for the term of that agreement. It includes the features of the Autopilot tier and the same signals as every other tier, it is not a subscription, and these Terms apply to its use.
In addition:
Changes to instruments, delivery channels, and tier features are governed by Section 13.
You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity, and you must confirm this before you subscribe. If we become aware that a subscription was concluded by a minor, we terminate it and refund all payments we received for it.
You are responsible for making sure that using this service, and trading the instruments concerned, is lawful where you live.
Where the service is offered. The service is operated from Germany and offered worldwide, except where local law prohibits it or where we state that we do not offer it. You may not use the service from a place where doing so is prohibited. We do not solicit anyone individually in any jurisdiction; what we publish is the same for every member, wherever they live.
Residents of the Republic of Korea. EdgeQuant is operated from Germany by the provider named in Section 1 and in the Impressum. What you receive is general, non-personalised information and educational content as described in Sections 2 to 5. It is not investment advice given to you individually, and no advisory or discretionary relationship arises between us. We are not registered with, or supervised by, the Financial Services Commission or the Financial Supervisory Service of Korea, and nothing in the service implies such registration. Whether and how you act on the information is your own decision, in your own account, under the law that applies to you.
Residents of the United States. Until further notice, the Autopilot tier, including trials of it, is not offered to residents of the United States; Preview and Operator are. When you subscribe to the Autopilot tier you confirm that you are not a US resident. If your billing address is in the United States, we do not open an upgrade or a trial to the Autopilot tier, and where an Autopilot subscription reaches us with a US billing address we limit it to Operator access and contact you about refunding the difference or ending the subscription. For US residents the service consists of the same general, non-personalised signals every member receives; we do not direct your account, and whether and how you trade is your decision.
Accounts are linked to your Telegram or Discord account, or to a login we issue. One account belongs to one natural person. Keep your login, your membership token, and your app PIN to yourself; tell us promptly if you believe any of them has been exposed.
You select a plan and are forwarded to the checkout page of our payment provider. There you see the plan, the billing interval, and the total price payable, and you can correct your entries before ordering by changing the fields on that page or by returning to the previous page in your browser. You conclude the contract by clicking the order button, which is labelled so that the payment obligation is unambiguous: "Subscribe with obligation to pay" when the checkout page is shown in English, and "Zahlungspflichtig abonnieren" when it is shown in German. The contract is concluded when we confirm your subscription by email.
Before that click you are shown the statutory withdrawal instruction and the model withdrawal form, and they are also attached to the order confirmation. We store the contract text, send it to you on a durable medium with the order confirmation, and keep it available in your dashboard.
The contract can be concluded in English. Section 23 explains which language version is binding.
Plans and prices.
Preview is a contract, not a favour. The Preview tier is provided in exchange for the personal data you provide when you connect a Telegram or Discord account. It is therefore a contract for the supply of a digital product within the meaning of § 327 (3) BGB, and the statutory rights for digital products - including conformity, our obligation to supply updates, and the rules on modification and on termination - apply to it in the same way as they apply to paid tiers. If you withdraw the consent on which our processing of that data is based, we may terminate the Preview contract with effect for the future (§ 327q BGB).
Prices, taxes, and currency. Prices are stated in US dollars and are final consumer prices including any applicable value added tax. The total amount payable is shown and confirmed before you complete the purchase, and your invoice, available in the subscription portal, shows the VAT component where one applies. Your bank or card issuer may additionally charge a currency conversion fee; that fee is not part of our price and we do not receive it.
Founding member prices (Autopilot tier only). A limited number of the first Autopilot subscriptions are offered at reduced founding rates, in tiers that step up as places are taken; the founding rates are available until all founding places have been taken or until 30 days after paid subscriptions open, whichever comes first, after which the regular price applies to new subscriptions. The exact rates, the number of places in each tier, the regular price, and the date on which the founding period ends are announced publicly before checkout opens, and, while the founding offer is open, the number of founding places still available at each rate is published on the membership page and updated when a subscription starts at, or is switched to, a founding rate. The rate that applies to you is the rate shown in the checkout you confirm or, for an upgrade made inside your account, on the upgrade confirmation screen you confirm, and stated on your payment receipt; that receipt is decisive. For an upgrade, the founding place is taken, and the founding rate applies, only once the upgrade payment has succeeded. For an upgrade scheduled during a trial, a founding rate applies only if a place is still open when the upgrade is carried out; no place is held for you in the meantime. Once a founding place has been taken it is not reopened, including where the founding member later cancels.
A founding rate is locked for as long as your subscription remains continuously active, including through a permitted dormancy period (Section 10). The founding rate is attached to the Autopilot subscription: if you downgrade to Operator, the founding rate is released and does not revive on a later upgrade, which is then charged at the rate in effect at that time. If your subscription ends, the founding rate is lost permanently, and re-joining later is possible at the price then applicable. Section 11 restricts our own ability to end a founding member subscription.
Billing. Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Access is granted for as long as the subscription is paid and active.
Upgrades. You can move from the Operator tier to the Autopilot tier inside your account. The difference between the two tiers for the rest of your current billing period is charged at once, in the amount shown on the upgrade confirmation screen, and the upgrade takes effect only once that payment has succeeded; if the payment is declined, nothing changes. If your card issuer asks for an additional confirmation, we send you to our payment provider's page to complete the payment, and the upgrade takes effect when you have done so. Your billing date stays the same, and the Autopilot tier rate applies from your next billing date. While an Autopilot trial is running, an upgrade is scheduled for the end of the trial instead, as described under Three-asset trial below.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, the payment provider retries it according to its retry schedule, and we notify you immediately and again before the period below ends. During the retry and grace period (up to 30 days) access to paid features continues; access ends only if the grace period is exhausted and the subscription ends under Section 12, and it is restored automatically as soon as payment succeeds.
Your subscription itself, and any founding rate lock, are not lost immediately. They end only if the payment remains outstanding for more than 30 days after we have sent you at least two reminders in text form, at least one of which expressly warns you that the founding rate will be lost. If the failure was not attributable to you - for example a card expiry, a bank outage, or an error by the payment provider - and you settle the amount within 14 days of our reminder, your subscription and your founding rate continue without interruption. If you settle within 30 days after the subscription has already ended, we reinstate your founding rate on request.
Price changes. We may change the prices of our plans for the future, subject to the procedure and the limits in Section 21. A change never applies to an active founding member price lock.
Fixed-term passes. Only monthly billing is offered at launch. If we later introduce fixed-term passes (for example 3, 6, or 12 months), the term is prepaid, we contact you before it ends so that you can choose, and unless you actively choose the same term again the subscription converts to monthly billing at expiry, so that access continues without interruption and you are never bound into a second fixed term. A founding rate lock carries over to the converted monthly subscription.
Promotions and trials. We may offer trials, discounts, or temporary upgrades. The conditions of each offer are stated with the offer. A trial ends automatically at the end of its term unless you actively choose to continue into a paid plan; we remind you before it ends and state the price that would then apply.
Prop trader discount (Autopilot tier only). Where we grant the prop trader discount under the conditions published on the prop trader page - a discount on the Autopilot tier for a stated number of months, which becomes an ongoing discount if you pass a qualifying evaluation within that period and leave a review - the discount applies only for as long as your Autopilot subscription remains continuously active, including through a permitted dormancy period (Section 10). If your Autopilot subscription ends, whether because you downgrade to Operator, because you cancel, or because it ends under the Failed payments paragraph above, the discount ends with it and does not revive on a later upgrade or a new subscription. The reinstatement of a founding rate described under Failed payments does not apply to this discount.
Three-asset trial. If you hold an Operator subscription, you can use the Autopilot tier for 14 days at no extra charge. The trial becomes available once you have turned on at least one account in EQ Autopilot for each of the three instruments (Nasdaq, gold and Bitcoin); the same broker account may serve more than one instrument. An account counts while EQ Autopilot has reported it to us within the last 7 days; if the application has been closed for longer, open it once and the account is counted again. You start the trial yourself, under Manage subscription in My Account in your dashboard; it never starts automatically, and no request by email is needed. The trial is available once per person: not if a trial has already been used on any subscription linked to the same Telegram or Discord account, the same customer record at our payment provider or the same billing email address, and not if you have paid for the Autopilot tier before. We do not start it while your subscription is paused or has an overdue payment, or while you already have Autopilot access through a promotion. During the trial your Operator subscription and its billing continue unchanged, and order sizes follow your own settings as on the Autopilot tier; no separate limit applies to the trial. We notify you three days before it ends, and it lapses automatically at the end of the 14 days: you return to the Operator tier, and nothing is charged for the trial.
Upgrading during the trial. If you upgrade while the trial is running, nothing is charged at that moment: we record your request and carry out the upgrade when the trial ends. At that moment one month of the Autopilot tier is charged, the part of your Operator fee already paid for the time after that moment is credited on the same invoice, and your billing date moves to that day; the upgrade takes effect only if that payment succeeds, and otherwise you stay on the Operator tier. If the monthly amount due at that moment is higher than the amount shown when you made the request, or is in another currency, we do not upgrade and ask you again; if you do not answer, you stay on the Operator tier. We also do not upgrade if at that moment your subscription is paused, has an overdue payment or is set to cancel, or if a withdrawal from you is on file. Until the trial ends you can cancel the request at no cost under Manage subscription in your dashboard.
Instead of cancelling, you may pause your subscription for a total of up to 90 days within any rolling 12-month period. Your dashboard shows how much of that allowance you have used and how much remains. If you resume before the days you set aside are used up, the remaining days stay available to you within the same 12-month period. We may decline or end a pause that would exceed the allowance.
While paused: billing stops, your tier drops to Preview, channel access and app entitlements above Preview are withdrawn, and your settings, records, and public profile are preserved. Your founding member price lock survives a pause. Access and billing resume automatically at the end of the pause.
Open positions. A pause withdraws your entitlement to automated exit management. Before starting a pause, close any position that is open, or make sure you can manage it yourself (Section 14.8).
A pause is not a cancellation. If you want to end the subscription, cancel it (Section 11).
By you. You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. No reason is needed and no cancellation fee applies. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. There are two routes, and both are always open to you:
By us for cause. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, in particular Section 15 (acceptable use), or if we are required to do so by law. We will warn you first and give you a reasonable period to remedy the breach, unless the breach is serious enough that immediate suspension is necessary; in that case we give you the reasons without undue delay and an opportunity to respond. If we terminate for cause, we refund the pro-rata share of any period you have paid for and will no longer receive, unless the breach caused us damage of at least that amount. Any further claim for damages remains unaffected.
By us without cause. We may terminate an ordinary subscription with 30 days' notice to the end of a billing period. In that case we refund the pro-rata share of any period you have paid for but will no longer receive.
Founding members. We will not use ordinary termination in order to end a subscription that holds a founding member price lock. Ordinary termination of a founding member subscription is possible only where we discontinue the Autopilot tier for all members, in which case we give at least 90 days' notice and refund any prepaid period.
Open positions. Termination and suspension withdraw your entitlement to automated exit management. Section 14.8 explains what that means for a position that is open at that moment.
Termination does not affect payments already due. The Sections on acceptable use, track records and profiles, brokers and third parties, risk, liability, data protection, and governing law survive the end of the contract.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
How to withdraw. You can withdraw using the withdrawal function labelled "Vertrag widerrufen" (Withdraw from contract), which is available in the footer of every page of edgequant.app and app.edgequant.app, and at app.edgequant.app/?nav=withdraw, without logging in throughout the withdrawal period. You enter your name, the details that identify the contract and the email address for our confirmation, and confirm with the button "Widerruf bestätigen" (Confirm withdrawal); we then confirm receipt of your withdrawal, stating its content and the date and time we received it, on a durable medium without undue delay. Alternatively, an unequivocal statement to support@edgequant.app is sufficient. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you do not have to. The full statutory withdrawal instruction (Widerrufsbelehrung) and the model withdrawal form are shown at checkout, attached to your order confirmation, and published in the Impressum.
Refund. If you withdraw in time, we refund all payments we received from you under the contract you withdraw from within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same means of payment you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise with you.
Withdrawing an upgrade. An upgrade you confirm inside your account (for example from the Operator tier to the Autopilot tier) is a new agreement with its own 14-day withdrawal period, counted from the day you confirm it; an upgrade you schedule during a trial is confirmed on the day you schedule it. If you withdraw a scheduled upgrade before it has been carried out, we cancel it, nothing is charged for it, and your Operator subscription continues unchanged. Withdrawing an upgrade that has been carried out reverses only the upgrade: your subscription continues at the tier you had before, and we refund the additional amount charged for the upgrade, that is the difference between the two tiers for the period charged, less any compensation for value owed under the paragraphs below. Your earlier subscription is not withdrawn by this; its own withdrawal period runs from the day it was concluded. If the upgrade was charged at a founding rate, withdrawing it releases that rate as a downgrade would, and the founding place is not reopened (Section 9).
Performance during the withdrawal period. Our subscription is a digital service. Your right of withdrawal expires only once the service has been fully performed. A monthly subscription is not fully performed when it begins, so the right of withdrawal remains available to you during the 14 days.
At checkout, and on the upgrade confirmation screen, we ask you separately, by an action you take yourself, to expressly request that performance begin during the withdrawal period; for an upgrade you schedule during a trial, the request is that the upgraded service begin when the trial ends. If you give that express request and then withdraw before the period ends, you owe us proportionate compensation for the value of the service actually provided up to that point, calculated pro rata on the agreed monthly price (§ 357a (2) BGB).
If the request was not actively given and recorded. If, for any reason, your checkout did not ask for and record that express request as a separate action by you, the full 14-day right of withdrawal applies and you owe no compensation for value.
Scope of your acknowledgement. Any acknowledgement you give covers only the parts of the service that are actually made available to you. It does not waive your rights under §§ 327 ff. BGB if a feature you paid for is not provided.
Confirmation on a durable medium. After the contract is concluded we send you a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (§ 312f BGB), including confirmation of your express request and of your acknowledgement.
Refunds outside the withdrawal right. Payments are otherwise non-refundable, and no refund is given for a partially used period once access has begun, except where these Terms provide otherwise. We may still refund at our discretion in clear cases such as duplicate charges or technical errors on our side. Your statutory rights, including rights for defective digital products under §§ 327 ff. BGB, are unaffected.
This Section governs changes to the digital product itself - instruments, delivery channels, tier features, and the software. Changes to the wording of these Terms are governed by Section 21.
We may change the digital product beyond what is necessary to maintain conformity only for the following valid reasons:
Any such change is made at no additional cost to you. Where a change adversely affects your access to, or your use of, the digital product other than negligibly, we inform you on a durable medium at least six weeks in advance, stating what changes and when, and you may terminate the contract free of charge within 30 days of that notice or of the change, whichever is later, with a pro-rata refund of any period you have paid for and will not receive (§ 327r BGB).
This Section applies in addition to the rest of these Terms if you download or run EQ Autopilot.
14.1 Licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and run EQ Autopilot for your own trading. The licence to install and run the application, and to connect your broker to it, is granted at every tier, including free Preview access; which functions the application will perform for you follows your tier under Section 14.2. The licence to install and run the application does not end when a paid subscription ends: it continues for as long as you hold any tier with us, including free Preview access. What ends with the subscription is your entitlement to the tier-gated functions under Section 14.2, in accordance with Section 11. We do not revoke the licence at will. All rights in the software remain with us. This is a licence to use, not a sale.
14.2 Eligibility and remote configuration. Downloading EQ Autopilot and connecting your broker to it are open at every tier, including free Preview access. Automated exit management requires at least the Operator tier; automated entry requires the Autopilot tier. These are minimum tiers: we may temporarily grant a feature to a lower tier as a promotion, which does not change the tier definitions and does not create an entitlement beyond the stated promotion period. Entitlements are delivered to the application from our server and end when your subscription ends or when you pause.
Safety switch. We may disable automated execution in the software, or place it in simulation mode, only where this is necessary to prevent an identified safety-relevant defect, to comply with a legal or regulatory requirement, or where a data provider we depend on has failed. The switch can only stop the software from acting. It can never place, modify, size, or route an order in your account, and it never selects an instrument, a direction, a size, or a moment for you individually. We notify affected members when we activate such a switch and when we release it.
If automated execution is unavailable. If automated execution is unavailable to you for reasons on our side for more than 72 hours in total within a billing period, you may either reduce the fee proportionately for the affected days or terminate the subscription with immediate effect and receive a refund of the unused part of the period.
14.3 Your machine, your keys, your account. The software runs on your computer, authenticates to your broker or exchange with credentials you enter, and places orders in accounts that belong to you. Your broker credentials are never transmitted to EdgeQuant. Secrets - API keys, passwords, passphrases and tokens - are stored in your operating system's secure credential store; if your machine has no working secret store, they are encrypted with a key derived from your PIN instead and are not left in plain text. Values that are not secret - host names, ports, account labels and identifiers, your broker login name, sizing settings - are stored in the application's configuration file on your device, and that file is not encrypted: anyone with access to your user account on that computer can read those values. Use full-disk encryption, do not run the software on a shared or unattended machine, and issue API keys with the narrowest permissions your provider allows. We do not hold your funds and do not act as an intermediary for your orders. Our server cannot send a command directly to your account. The signal the application follows (entry, direction, stop, size multiplier and exit time) and which functions are enabled or locked are, however, set by our server.
14.4 Sizing and risk settings are yours. You set the risk amount per trade (1R) and the account configuration. Order quantity is computed from your configured risk amount, the signal's stop distance, and the strategy's per-signal size multiplier - a value that is identical for every member, is shown on each signal card, and is capped at 3x your configured risk amount. The software may read your broker balance locally in order to pre-fill a field in the calculator or to remind you of a payout threshold, but it does not derive your order size from your financial situation. Account-level values - your risk amount and account configuration - are entered or confirmed by you; the software never derives them from your balance.
14.5 System requirements and limitations. EQ Autopilot requires a computer running a currently supported version of Windows or macOS, switched on, awake, and connected to the internet for the entire time a position is open; a supported broker or exchange account; and API credentials issued by that provider. The NinjaTrader 8 integration, which is the route used for both Lucid and Tradovate accounts, is available on Windows only. The Interactive Brokers integration requires TWS or IB Gateway running on the same computer. Integrations marked "unverified" have not yet completed live verification with that provider, and integrations marked "beta" have completed only initial live verification. The software applies technical protection measures, namely a membership token bound to your subscription.
14.6 Restrictions. You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent such acts cannot be restricted by mandatory law (§§ 69d, 69e UrhG); copy, publish, rent, lend, resell, or otherwise distribute it; remove or alter notices; circumvent tier gates, tokens, or licensing checks; or use our signals, cards, or statistics as an input to a signal or execution service offered to third parties.
14.7 Token and device limit. Your membership token identifies your subscription. It is personal to you. You may use it on the number of devices that you personally control shown as the device limit on your dashboard and on the automation page (two at the time of writing). This is a contractual limit. We may change the limit for future registrations; a reduction does not apply to devices you have already registered until you remove them. Sharing your token or your installation with another person is a material breach.
If we have concrete indications that your token is being used beyond that limit or by another person, we will rotate the token and notify you. Before terminating on that ground we describe to you what we observed and give you seven days to respond, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent ongoing harm; in that case we give you the reasons without undue delay and an opportunity to respond afterwards. If the suspicion turns out to be unfounded, we restore access and refund any period you could not use.
14.8 Execution is not guaranteed. EQ Autopilot is a convenience tool. An order may fail, be delayed, be partially filled, or be filled at a price different from the reference price for reasons outside our control, including: your internet connection; your computer sleeping, restarting, or losing power; an operating system or antivirus interruption; an application crash; broker or exchange downtime; API rate limits or authentication failures; margin or position limits on your account; market gaps, halts, and slippage. These events can occur for reasons outside our control, and you remain responsible for monitoring your positions. Our statutory liability for defects in the software is unaffected.
Protective stops. When the software opens a position it places a protective stop order at your broker for that position, so that the stop remains in place at the broker even if the application is closed. Do not add a second stop for the same position manually. Two stops can leave one order live after the other has been filled, which can open a position in the opposite direction. Separately, we recommend enabling any account-level protection your broker offers, such as automatic liquidation or daily loss limits.
If the software stops running. If you close, quit, suspend, or disconnect the application, or if your computer goes offline, automated exit management stops. Any position that is open at that moment stays open, with the protective stop that is already at your broker but without further management. From that point on, managing, hedging, or closing that position is your responsibility. The software does not manage positions while it is not running, and we do not monitor your positions on your behalf at any time.
If we withdraw the entitlement. Automated exit management also stops when your entitlement ends or is withdrawn: when a pause begins, when a subscription ends or is suspended, or when we activate a safety switch. Before pausing or cancelling, close any open position or make sure you can manage it yourself. Where the timing is under our control, we will not withdraw exit management while a position opened through the software is still open, unless we must act immediately for safety or legal reasons; in that case we will tell you.
14.9 Consent inside the software. Before the software will run, it asks you to confirm that you are using your own keys, on your own device, in your own account, at your own responsibility, and that EdgeQuant does not trade for you. That confirmation is a contractual declaration and a condition of use. It also covers the transmission to us of your trading results in relative form, as described in Section 16 and in our Privacy Policy.
Whether that record is published on a public page is a separate data protection consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. It is not a contractual term: giving it or refusing it has no effect on your subscription, and you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
14.10 Updates and support. We may issue updates and discontinue support for older versions, and we may require you to update in order to keep using automated execution, in particular where an update fixes a safety-relevant defect. Changes to the features of the software are governed by Section 13.
14.11 Data. The application sends a limited set of technical and result data to us, for example error reports, execution measurements, and the result summary described in Section 16. What is sent, why, and for how long it is kept is described in our Privacy Policy.
You may use the signals and content for your own trading. You may not:
What this does not prohibit. You may mention individual signals or your own results occasionally and non-systematically - for example in a review you submit to us, on your own public profile page, or in a personal post - as long as you do not reproduce our content in a way that lets others follow the signals without a subscription.
Text and data mining. We reserve the right of text and data mining in respect of all content on our websites and channels pursuant to § 44b (3) UrhG. We also declare that reservation in machine-readable form on our websites.
If you breach this Section we may warn you, rotate or revoke your token, remove your content, suspend access, or terminate the subscription for cause under Section 11, which also governs refunds in that case. We reserve the right to claim damages. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
How results are presented. We publish three different kinds of figures and label them as such:
None of these is a promise. Past results, tested or live, do not indicate future results.
Results in R. Results are expressed in R. R is the result of a trade stated as a multiple of the amount you decided to risk on it.
What is transmitted, and what is published. For Autopilot members who have consented to automated execution, the application synchronises a record of completed trades to us - for each trade the date, instrument, direction, result in R, relative size, the entry and exit fill prices and the name of the broker connection - and we store it on our servers as part of the service. Synchronisation runs automatically and can also be started by hand. It contains no account balances and no account numbers. From it we compute the summary shown on your dashboard: R multiples, drawdown, recovery factor, trade count, win rate, monthly and per-asset breakdowns, and recent trades. Publishing that summary on a public page under a handle is a separate choice, which you make and can reverse at any time with the toggle in your dashboard. A page that has never been published stays unpublished until you switch it on there. The setting labelled "Record my results" in the application changes neither the synchronisation nor the publication. Turning publication off stops the page; it does not stop the synchronisation. How to have stored records deleted is described below and in our Privacy Policy.
What publication includes. A published page may show the same records in more than one form: on the page itself, as a plain-text feed of individual results, and as a downloadable file (for example CSV) that contains the fields shown on the page and nothing more. All of these are covered by the same publication choice. Records that have been published may have been viewed, copied, or downloaded by others in the meantime; switching publication off stops the page and the downloads, but cannot recall copies that were already made.
Your handle and your display name. Your public page shows a handle and a display name that we take automatically from the Telegram or Discord account you signed up with. If no username is set on that platform, the handle is derived from your numeric platform user ID instead. You do not enter them. If your real name is set as your name on that platform, your real name will appear on the page. You can switch publication off at any time from your dashboard. To have your display name changed, your handle changed, or your page and stored records deleted, write to support@edgequant.app; we handle those requests manually and confirm to you when they are done.
After your subscription ends. Your public page stops being updated and is taken offline within 30 days after your subscription ends, unless you ask us in writing to keep it online. Your stored trade records are deleted on request at support@edgequant.app, and in any case no later than the end of the retention period stated in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion at any time, and we act within one month.
Integrity. We filter out records that cannot belong to the service, for example trades from before your token was issued or from before an asset went live, and we may correct, hide, or remove a profile that is misleading, manipulated, impersonating, or infringing. Handles that imitate our brand or another person are not allowed. Section 17 applies to those measures.
Reviews. Reviews may be submitted by members from the Operator tier upward, whose subscription we have verified in our own systems at the time of writing. Reviews submitted with proof material are held and published only after we have reviewed them, and the "verified" label means that we have checked the evidence supplied by the member. Featured reviews are marked as such and are selected by us and shown first; the remaining reviews are shown newest first. Entries posted by the EdgeQuant team (for example the operator's own notes) are labelled as such and are not member reviews.
If you submit a review, you confirm that it reflects your genuine experience, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to publish, display, translate, and excerpt it for the purpose of presenting our service, for as long as your review remains published. You may ask us to remove your review at any time and we will do so within 14 days, except from copies already distributed.
If you attach a screenshot as evidence, you must mask account numbers, names, and other details you do not want published; we do not mask them for you, and you confirm that the screenshot contains no personal data of third parties. Screenshots you attach are stored with the review for as long as the review is published.
We do not delete or suppress reviews because they are negative. We remove a review only if it is unlawful, contains third-party personal data, is not based on genuine use, or is manifestly abusive, and we tell the author why.
We host member profiles and reviews, which makes us a hosting service under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
Your broker, exchange, or proprietary trading firm is an independent third party. Your relationship with them is governed by their contract with you, not by ours.
Crypto derivatives. Signals for Bitcoin perpetual contracts are published as general information about the method. Perpetual contracts are derivative instruments. We do not offer, promote, or intermediate them on any specific venue. We do not recommend, endorse, or have any relationship with any crypto exchange, we receive no compensation from any of them, and we do not verify whether a given venue is authorized to serve you. Whether you may lawfully trade such instruments, and on which venue, is your responsibility.
Trading futures, derivatives, and crypto instruments involves substantial risk, including leverage. You can lose more than you expect and, depending on the instrument and your provider, more than you deposited. Only risk money you can afford to lose.
We do not guarantee profitability, a particular result, the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information, or uninterrupted availability of the website, the channels, or the software. Market conditions change and a signal can become invalid without notice. Every trading decision is yours.
We are liable without limitation:
For slight negligence, we are liable only where we breach a material contractual obligation - an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of this contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract at the time it was concluded.
Any further liability is excluded. These limitations do not apply where mandatory law provides otherwise, in particular for claims under Art. 82 GDPR, for claims arising from a defect in a digital product under §§ 327 ff. BGB, for our obligation to supply updates under § 327f BGB, and for the mandatory rules on delay and impossibility. The same limits apply in favour of our legal representatives, employees, and agents. Nothing in this Section changes the statutory allocation of the burden of proof to your disadvantage.
Market risk. Market risk and the outcome of any individual trade are not attributable to us.
This does not affect our liability under this Section where a loss is caused by a defect in our software, by a defective signal, or otherwise by a breach of our obligations - for example an order placed in the wrong direction, an order placed in a size other than the one you confirmed, or an entry executed without the protective stop that the software was supposed to place. In those cases the rules above apply in full.
Third parties. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, outages, or rule changes of brokers, exchanges, proprietary trading firms, messaging platforms, payment providers, or data providers, subject to the unlimited liability cases above.
This Section governs changes to the wording of these Terms. Changes to the digital product itself are governed by Section 13.
We will not treat your silence as agreement to a significant change.
If we want to change these Terms, we notify you at least six weeks before the change takes effect, in text form (email, direct message, or in-app notice). The notice describes what changes, why, and when it takes effect, and points you to this Section.
You may object before the effective date, at no cost, by writing to support@edgequant.app. If you object, the change does not become part of your contract and your subscription continues on the current Terms. We may then terminate the subscription only with the ordinary notice under Section 11 (30 days to the end of a billing period), with a pro-rata refund. We will not end a founding member subscription on the ground that you objected to a change.
Changes that are required by law or by a binding decision of a court or authority, and changes that are purely to your advantage or have no effect on your rights and obligations, take effect on notice.
Price changes. We may adjust prices at most once per 12 months, and only to reflect changes in our own costs of providing the service (data and execution providers, payment processing, hosting, and statutory levies). An adjustment may not exceed the proportionate increase in those costs, and cost reductions are passed on in the same way. Price changes follow the notice and objection procedure above and never apply to an active founding member price lock.
New subscriptions are concluded under the version of these Terms published at the time of purchase.
How we handle personal data - what we collect, why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights - is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the information we give you but is not itself a contractual term.
Governing law. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
Jurisdiction. If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law, or a special fund under public law, the courts at our registered seat have exclusive jurisdiction. For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
Complaints and dispute resolution. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). Please contact us directly at support@edgequant.app; we aim to answer complaints within five business days.
Assignment. You may not transfer this contract without our consent. We may transfer it to a legal successor only if we notify you in text form at least 30 days in advance; in that case you may terminate the contract with immediate effect up to the date of the transfer, and we refund the pro-rata share of any period you have paid for and will no longer receive.
Severability. If a provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
Language. These Terms are concluded in English, and the English version is binding. Where we provide a German translation, it is for convenience and the English version prevails. The statutory withdrawal instruction, the model withdrawal form and the cancellation function under Section 11 are published in German alongside English; for a contract concluded in English, the English version of the withdrawal instruction and the model withdrawal form is binding, and the German text is provided to satisfy the statutory model. This mirrors the language rule stated in the Impressum.
